【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversashipboardoilpollutionabatementsystem(OPAS)thatprocessesoilywasteandallowsselectivesuctionfromalloilywasteholdingtanks,wasteoil,dirtyoil,anddraintanksandthebilgesofalloilywatergeneratingspacesforoperationwithintheU.S.ContiguousZoneasexceptedbylocalregulatoryauthorities.1.1.1Thisspecificationcoversthesystemfromthepointofenteringthesystemuntiltheoil-watermixtureistreatedanddischargedoverboard.1.1.2Thisincludesminimizingoilywastegeneration,theoilywasteholdingtank,theoil-waterseparationdevice,thecontrolsystem,feedandrecirculationpump(s),asecondarytreatmentdevice,andanautomaticstoppingdevicecapableofdetecting15ppmoilinthewastestream.1.1.3Fig.1providesageneralsystemschematictoutilizeforsystemconfiguration.
