【摘要】:Oxidativeinductiontimeisarelativemeasureofthedegreeofoxidativestabilityofthematerialevaluatedattheisothermaltemperatureofthetest.Thepresence,quantityoreffectivenessofantioxidantsmaybedeterminedbythismethod.TheOITvaluesthusobtainedmaybecomparedfromonehydrocarbontoanotherortoareferencematerialtoobtainrelativeoxidativestabilityinformation.Typicalusesincludetheoxidativestabilityofedibleoilsandfats(oxidativerancidity),lubricants,greases,andpolyolefins.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationoftheoxidativepropertiesofhydrocarbonsbydifferentialscanningcalorimetryorpressuredifferentialscanningcalorimetryandisapplicabletohydrocarbonsthatoxidizeexothermicallyintheiranalyzedform.1.2Computerorelectronic-basedinstruments,techniquesordatatreatmentequivalenttothistestmethodmayalsobeused.Note18212;Sinceallelectronicdatatreatmentsarenotequivalent,theusershallverifyequivalencytothismethod.1.3TestMethodA8212;Adifferentialscanningcalorimeter(DSC)isusedatambientpressure,forexample,about100kPaofoxygen.1.4TestMethodB8212;ApressureDSC(PDSC)isusedathighpressure,forexample,3.5MPa(500psig)oxygen.1.5SIvaluesarethestandard.1.6ThistestmethodisrelatedtoISO11357-6butisdifferentintechnicalcontent.ThistestmethodisrelatedtoCECL-85-Tbutincludesadditionalexperimentalconditions.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote6andNote14.
