【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemechanical,physicalandopticalcharacteristicsof120mmrecordableopticaldiskswithcapacitiesof8,55Gbytesand17,1Gbytes.Itspecifiesthequalityoftherecordedandunrecordedsignals,theformatofthedataandtherecordingmethod,therebyallowingforinformationinterchangebymeansofsuchdisks.Thedatacanbewrittenonceandreadmanytimesusinganonreversiblemethod.Thesedisksareidentifiedas+RDL.ThisInternationalStandardalsospecifies80mmdiskswithcapacitiesof2,66Gbytesand5,32Gbytes.Thesediskshavethesamecharacteristicsasthe120mmdisks,exceptforsomeparametersrelatedtothesmallerdimensions.Allparametersuniqueforthe80mmdisksarespecifiedinAnnexA.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-tworelatedbutdifferentTypesofthisdisk(seeClause7),-theconditionsforconformance,-theenvironmentsinwhichthediskistobetested,operatedandstored,-themechanical,physicalanddimensionalcharacteristicsofthedisk,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems,-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectingcodesandthecodingmethod,-thecharacteristicsofthesignalsrecordedonthedisk,thusenablingdataprocessingsystemstoreadthedatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesfortheinterchangeofdisksbetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
